From the guy how gave you Maximum Muscle Madness.  I am back with my Post-COVID, No More Quarantine Workout.  Time to get outside and get working out.

So I have my sweats and shirt from Meijer, or TJ Max, or Burlington Coat Factory can’t remember from where, but I don’t have an endorsement deal from any of them yet.

I have my Beats Headphones from Best Buy or Disc Replay, and my SanDisc MP3Player from MicroCenter and my Hand Weights from Dicks Sporting Goods.  Still no endorsement deals, but I am ready for my 3 mile walk while curling and pressing Five Pound Weights.

Really the walk is 3 and ½ miles, and it almost always plays out this way.

First ½ Mile, flying strong.  Walking tall, into the music and the breeze that keeps me cool.  I am on top of the world.

First Mile, still feeling strong, a little sore.  Curling and Lifting those weights, I am big, I am strong, I am my own superhero!  I will tell that story some other time.

First Mile and One Half.  Why do I do this again?  Oh yeah, I am big and strong and sore, but the tunes are great so I keep going.  Plus, people are watching me so I can’t give up.

Two Miles down and I am sweating, and I am tired, but I can’t turn back because I am more than half way done.  So I may was well keep going.  Keep going, no one is going to do it for me.

Two and a half miles in… and I am really tired of doing this, maybe I can just set the weights down and rest.  Maybe, but I will not get a deal with Marvel comics by being a mere mortal, so I have to keep going.  No Endorsement deal from Marvel yet… Hashtags at the end…  😊

Three Mile in, my muscles are burning, I am scorched and I am focused.  Let the music do the talking and I keep lifting and walking.  This is the stuff that Heroes are made of… I am focused on a Power Generator; Storms have knocked out power to an apartment building and I am just lifting and walking and focused… and then the strangest thing happens.  I feel like I walked into quicksand.  I look down and I have walked into freshly poured cement.  Dang… my cheap shoes are now ruined. 

So now I have to find the people who poured the cement and apologize.  They were cool and told me to rinse off my cheap shoes, maybe they are not ruined after all.  They fix the cement and I get back to my walk.  ½ a mile to go and my shoes are soaking wet, but I am a Superhero so it does not matter.  At least in my mind, with the right tunes playing, I am a Superhero.  I never let COVID get me down, never let it stop me.  I hope you all came through it OK, better than ever.  I am sorry for any losses anyone has suffered, I know it is real, and very real to those we have lost.  But we have to be strong and live, and keep getting stronger.

So, stay strong, and be your Own Super Hero, and encourage a kid to be a Super Hero and let’s heal this world together!!!
